York University has knowingly played an ineligible player in College Season play and has been disqualified

CONTEXT
During standard preseason sportsmanship checks of all players, Gleb “Luxi” Nakarikov failed to meet an acceptable level of in-game behavior and was banned from participating in the 2019 College LoL Season. This ruling was delivered privately to York University’s manager and directly to Nakarikov, per standard protocol.
Last week, York University registered Nakarikov under a new summoner name, “Room Temp IQ JG,” and started in their round 2 match vs. Carleton University.
Additionally, Nakarikov was suspended for one match during the 2018 College LoL Season for repeated instances of inappropriate conduct in solo queue and in scrims with other College Season teams. This is the third instance of him violating College Season rules, and repeated conversations with season officials has made it clear that he has no interest in reforming or attempting to abide by the season rules.
RELEVANT RULES
6.2.8 Ban Evasion. A team may not attempts to roster or start a player that is not eligible due to disciplinary action, or account bans by use of a smurf or alternate account.
RULING
York University has violated rule 6.2.8 of the College Season.
- Carleton University is awarded a victory for their match against York University.
- York Esports and York University are disqualified from the 2019 College Season
- The following players and team staff are suspended from College Season activities for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year:

- Colin Cheung – cabstract
- Lyndon Tsun – Laceration
- Karan Sharma – Spin
- Noah Khan – Scrandor
- Chad Randell – Solitified
- Gleb Nakarikov has been permanently banned from participation in the College LoL Season
