When and where is MSI 2019 taking place?

Play-In Stage:
May 1-7 at GG Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City

Group Stage:
May 10-14 at National Convention Center in Hanoi

Knockout Stage (Semifinals & Finals):
May 17-19 at Heping Basketball Gymnasium in Taipei

How do I purchase tickets?

Play-in and Group Stage tickets will be sold via Ticketbox. Ticketbox will be available in Vietnamese and English. At the time of sale, tickets can be purchased here.

Knockout Stage tickets will be sold via KKTIX. KKTIX will be available in Traditional Chinese and English. At the time of sale, tickets can be purchased here.

When do tickets go on sale?

For Play-In Stage:
Monday, March 25, 2019 10:00 ICT (March 24 20:00 PDT)

For Group Stage:
Wave 1- March 25, 2019 10:00 ICT (March 24 20:00 PDT)
Wave 2- April 1, 2019 10:00 ICT (March 31 20:00 PDT)

For Knockout Stage (Semifinals & Finals):
Wave 1- April 1, 2019 20:00 CST (April 1 05:00 PDT)
Wave 2- April 8, 2019 20:00 CST (April 8 05:00 PDT)

How much will tickets cost?

Play-in Stage at GG Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City:
Play-In Groups:
100,000 VND GA for each 6-game day

Play-in Knockouts:
125,000 VND GA for each Bo5 day

Group Stage at National Convention Center in Hanoi:
Tier 1 (Front of ground floor): 200,000 VND
Tier 2 (Front of balcony): 150,000 VND
Tier 3 (Back of ground floor): 125,000 VND
Tier 4 (Back of balcony): 100,000 VND

Knockout Stage at Heping Basketball Gymnasium in Taipei
Semifinals:
Tier 1 (floor seats): 900 NTD
Tier 2: 600 NTD
Tier 3: 400 NTD

Finals:
Tier 1 (floor seats): 1100 NTD
Tier 2: 800 NTD
Tier 3: 500 NTD

Are there any other taxes and fees associated with the tickets?

Ticketbox for Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi: All fees are included in the ticket price.

KKTIX for Taipei: All fees are included for digital/mobile tickets. Printed tickets will incur an additional fee of NTD 30.

How many tickets can I buy?

There is a maximum limit of 4 tickets per transaction, regardless of the days you purchase for.

For groups who want to attend multiple days together, try to purchase your tickets in single-day batches so that you can at least guarantee you stay together for a specific day, rather than each individual buying a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ticket.

What information is required to buy tickets?

You’ll be asked for your name, address, phone number, payment method, and account information.

Do I need an account to buy tickets?

Yes, you will need an account with Ticketbox and/or KKTIX to purchase tickets. To save time, we recommend that you sign-up and create an account before tickets go live.

On-site event details:

What language will the games be shoutcasted in at the venue?

For Play-In & Group stages, the games will be shoutcasted in Vietnamese.
For Knockout stage, the games will be shoutcasted in Mandarin.

There will not be translation radios available, unfortunately.

Any age restrictions for attending MSI 2018?

Children under the age of 13 are required to come with an adult.

When do doors open?

Play-In Stage: Doors open 1 hour before the show.
May 1-3, May 6-7: Doors open 16:00 ICT for 17:00 show
May 4-5: Doors open 13:00 ICT for 14:00 show

Group Stage: Doors open 2 hours before the show.
May 10, May 13-14: Doors open 15:00 ICT for 17:00 show
May 11-12: Doors open 12:00 ICT for 14:00 show

Knockout Stage: Doors open 2 hours before the show.
May 17: Doors open 16:00 CST for 18:00 show
May 18-19: Doors open 13:00 CST for 15:00 show

We will be releasing an in-depth guide for ticket holders and attendees, as well as full event overview closer to the event.

Event match schedule:

The final schedule for MSI 2019 will be published shortly after the MSI Play-In Draw Show on April 23.
