Introducing the NA LCS YouTube Channel

We wanted to make it easier for fans to find all their favorite NA LCS content on YouTube.

We wanted to make it easier for fans to find all their favorite NA LCS content on YouTube. Sometimes, when you’re searching for NA LCS content on the Lolesports YouTube Channel, it can be hard to find with EU LCS, LPL, and LCK content all in the same space.

As an experiment, we’re launching an NA LCS YouTube channel. We want to stress that this is just a pilot for Summer Split. We’ll continue to upload all our videos to both Lolesports and NA LCS during Summer Split – but we want to take the summer to see if fans find value in having a more focused YouTube channel.

On the NA LCS YouTube channel, you’ll find our weekly broadcasts and editorial content: This or That, The Dive, Eyes On, Match Teases, The Breakdown, and NA LCS highlights. The live NA LCS broadcast will continue to air on Lolesports YouTubetwitch.tv/riotgamesESPN+, and watch.lolesports.com.

Our hope is that with a dedicated NA LCS channel, it will be easier to search and find NA LCS content and will make notifications that much more meaningful. Based on how things go this summer, we’ll look towards a new YouTube channel structure in 2019 (and possible region-specific channels for English-language broadcasts in 2019). And if it doesn’t work, since videos will be uploaded to Lolesports and NA LCS YouTube channels this summer, everyone can keep using the Lolesports channel as usual.

Let us know what you think and subscribe to the new NA LCS YouTube channel at youtube.com/NALCS.
