In today’s Play-In Draw Show, eight teams were sorted into two groups for Round 1 of the Play-in Stage of MSI 2018. The top team from each group will advance to play against VCS or LMS in Round 2.

• CLS’s Kaos Latin Gamers – Latin America South (LAS)
• GPL’s Ascension Gaming – Southeast Asia (SEA)

Group B:

• CBLOL’s KaBum! e-Sports – Brazil (BR)
• TCL’s BAUSuperMassive – Turkey (TUR)
• OPL’s Dire Wolves – Oceania (OCE)
• LJL’s PENTAGRAM – Japan (JPN)
