In October 2015 the league of legends World Championship was held at a sold out Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany.
During the month leading up to the explosive Final, fans from all over the world watched 73 games totaling over a hundred hours of live game content as 16 of the world’s best teams battled it out with stops in Paris, London & Brussels.
In total, across all stages of the tournament we saw an all-time high of 364 million hours of live esports viewed — nearly doubling 2014’s total.
“Worlds Collide,” the animated series teasing each stage of the event, amassed over 30 million views alone, and the original song featured in the trailer was downloaded over 5 million times across a number of platforms.

And in the end, a record total of 36 million fans tuned in from all over the World to watch Korea’s SKTelecom T1 defeat their fellow countrymen, the KOO Tigers, to become the 2015 League of Legends, World Champions.
