Competitive Ruling: Marcel “Kìrìt0” Wiederhofer

Wiederhofer has been using drophacks and DDOSing to gain a competitive advantage in his ranked matches.

FACTS

Marcel “Kìrìt0” Wiederhofer aka “Brigata” applied to play with one of the teams participating in the 2015 Summer Challenger Series Qualifier.

During the approval process that all players seeking to participate in the Challenger Series go through, it came to light that Wiederhofer has been using drophacks and DDOSing to gain a competitive advantage in his ranked matches.

RELEVANT RULES

The Summoner’s Code establishes the standards of behavior for all League of Legends players.

Section 9.2 Unprofessional Behavior of the official Challenger Series ruleset states:

  • Moral Turpitude. A Team Member may not engage in any activity which is deemed by the CS to be immoral, disgraceful, or contrary to conventional standards of proper ethical behavior. (9.2.9)

RULING

Wiederhofer has violated the Summoner’s Code as well as rule 9.2.9 of the Challenger Series ruleset.

COMPETITION PENALTIES

Wiederhofer is:

  • Suspended from participation in the Challenger Series for 2015 Summer and 2016 Spring Splits
  • Suspended from Riot-affiliated League of Legends tournaments until an established pattern of good behavior has been reported; subject to review before 2016 Summer Split
