Teams: Kimchi Dos Spicy & Kimchi 2 Spicy
Region: NA
Facts:
A team member of ranked team Kimchi Dos Spicy (KDS) confessed to colluding with a second team, Kimchi 2 Spicy (K2S), in order to manipulate the standings of the Ranked Teams ladder. Both teams were observed engaging in “queue sniping” and soft play just hours before the Summer Challenger Series 2 ladder lock. As a direct result of these actions, KDS moved up five spots in the ladder. KDS immediately dodged two consecutive games and lowered their seed by one, bringing them to a final placement of four seeds above their previous placement.

Conclusion & Final Thoughts
Seeding exists to create tournament match-ups as fairly as possible and reward teams who climb the ladder and excel in the Challenger Series. Intentionally circumventing rules or manipulating the tournament process for any reason is completely unacceptable, and we will not tolerate individuals or teams who choose to manipulate their way to an advantage.
