Section 9.1.1.2 of the official Challenger Series ruleset states:
“Teams are expected to play at their best at all times within any CS game, and to avoid any behavior inconsistent with the principles of good sportsmanship, honesty, or fair play.”

Ruling

H2k Gaming has violated Section 9.1.1.2 of the Challenger Series and will be subject to penalties.

Competition Penalties

H2k Gaming is:

  • Fined $300 USD

Conclusion & Final Thoughts

The Challenger Series is about featuring high level play and showcasing the next generation of LCS players. We do not tolerate teams that blatantly disrespect their competitors and detract from the spirit of the game. We take violations of the goals of the Challenger Series and the Summoner’s Code very seriously and will continue to enforce them.
